Partners - John C. DeFalco
John C. DeFalco, CPA, specializes in providing income and estate tax planning for high net worth individuals, and designs strategies for wealth accumulation, tax efficient wealth transfers, and retirement planning. John also oversees a significant portion of the firm's tax compliance services and counsels closely held companies on tax and succession planning issues.

John is an active member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Personal Financial Planning Section; the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants -- Suffolk Chapter, of which he is a member of the Estate Planning Committee and a founding member of the Young CPAs Committee; and the Tax Institute at Long Island University. He is also active in the Estate Planning Council of Suffolk County, John is an associate of TEC (The Executive Committee), an international organization of CEOs.

He currently holds a seat on the Board of Directors of the East Northport Chamber of Commerce, and is an Executive Board Member of the National Academy of Finance. He has organized fund raising events for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County and other charitable organizations and community groups.

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, and a Master's degree in Taxation from Long Island University. He holds the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning and a Notary Public License.

John enjoys spending time with his wife Michele, and their three children. He also enjoys playing golf and softball.
