Anthony P. Mariani, CPA has over thirty-five years of accounting and auditing experience working with privately held and publicly held middle market companies in a variety of industries including textile, construction, manufacturing, retail, consumer products and distribution, hospitality, professional services, software, media, and technology companies.

Anthony also has experience on governmental entities and not-for-profit client engagements. Anthony has participated in all phases of client services, including financial statement audits, sales audits, Sarbanes Oxley internal control audits, single audits, compilation and reviewed financial statement engagements and mergers and acquisition work including purchase transactions and the due diligence process.

Anthony is also a specialist in auditing of employee benefit plans. In addition, he supervises our back-office bookkeeping and outsourced accounting services for several of our clients.

Prior to joining Sheehan & Company in 2010, Anthony spent over fourteen years with an international accounting and consulting firm specializing in audits of public and privately owned middle market companies.

Anthony's previous clients have included private equity owned portfolio companies, retail jewelry, apparel and supermarket chains, construction contractors and developers, apparel, equipment, consumer products and food distributors, non-profit organizations, and an auto dealership, among others.
