Brightwaters, NY — September 8, 2026 — Sheehan & Company is pleased to announce that Amy Joyce, CPA, JD, has joined the firm as Director of Private Client Services.

Amy brings more than 25 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated fiduciary income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax matters. Her clients include high-net-worth individuals and families, trusts, estates, private foundations, and investment partnerships, for whom she provides tax planning, compliance, and consulting services designed to help preserve, manage, and transfer wealth efficiently.


Throughout her career, Amy has held leadership positions with several respected New York accounting firms, including serving as a Tax Partner focused on the tax planning and consulting needs of high-net-worth families and their related entities. Her practice encompasses trust and estate taxation, partnership taxation, wealth transfer planning, post-mortem tax planning, and representing clients in IRS and state tax examinations. Amy is known for combining deep technical knowledge with a practical, client-focused approach, helping clients and their advisors navigate complex tax issues with clear, thoughtful, and effective solutions.


Amy is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed New York attorney. She earned her Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Long Island University.


Amy lives in Nassau County with her husband and three children. Outside of the office, she enjoys camping, playing cornhole, and spending time with family and friends.
